Who can use CamMatch

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Keep your login details private; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Our role

CamMatch is an intermediary platform. Photographers are independent professionals who set their own packages and are responsible for their services. We verify photographers' identity before they can accept bookings, but we do not guarantee any particular result.

Bookings, prices and payment

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include all charges, including any service fee and applicable taxes, before you pay.

You only pay after the photographer accepts your request. You pay an advance (part of the package price, shown in the app before you pay) by UPI through our licensed payment partner; it is held safely until your shoot is completed. You pay the rest of the price to the photographer directly.

CamMatch may keep a service fee, a share of the package price taken from the advance before it is released to the photographer. The app shows the current rate before anyone pays, and a change only applies to new bookings.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel a request, or an accepted booking you have not paid for yet, at any time and at no cost.

You can ask to reschedule before you pay; the photographer may accept or decline the new time.

Once you pay the advance, the booking is final: neither you nor the photographer can cancel or reschedule it, and the advance is not refundable.

If something goes seriously wrong (for example, the photographer does not turn up, or has an emergency and cannot attend), use "Get help with this booking" on the booking. The advance stays held while we look into it, and CamMatch will cancel the booking and refund the advance in full when the photographer cannot provide the service.

Reviews and content

Only clients who completed a booking can review it. Reviews must be honest and lawful; we may remove reviews that are fake, abusive or unrelated.

Photographers must only upload work they own and have permission to share, including consent of the people in the photos.

Not allowed

You must not post or share anything that: belongs to someone else and you have no right to share; is obscene, sexual or invades anyone's privacy (including their body); harms children; is hateful, harassing or discriminatory by religion, caste, race or gender; is false or misleading, or pretends to be someone else; infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights; contains viruses or harmful code; threatens India's unity, security, sovereignty, public order or friendly relations with other countries; or breaks any law.

Also not allowed: fraud, trying to break into accounts or the service, sharing contact details to take bookings or payments outside the app, and fake reviews.

We may remove such content, suspend or close accounts, and report unlawful activity to the authorities as the law requires.

Reporting content

Anyone can report a photographer's profile or a review from the app (Report this profile, or Report under a review). We review reports and act within 15 days, and tell you what we decided.

How photographers are ranked

Recommended shows photographers in your city first, then ranks them by rating (weighted by how many reviews they have) and how close they are. Only verified photographers appear, and no one can pay to rank higher.

Complaints and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the city of our registered office have jurisdiction (to be confirmed).
